How to play AlphaTubes
1. Tap a tube
Select a tube that has letters. You pick up the top letter—the next one you can move.
2. Drop it in another tube
Tap a different tube to place the letter there. Keep moving tiles until the stacks line up.
3. Spell three words
Build three correct words in three tubes (same length per puzzle: 4, 5, or 6 letters), each read top to bottom, using the category’s word list.

What is AlphaTubes?
AlphaTubes is a free online word puzzle. Letters sit in vertical tubes. You tap a tube to pick up the top letter, then tap another tube to drop it. The goal is to spell three correct words of the same length (4, 5, or 6 letters), read top to bottom in each finished tube.
Where do I play?
Use the Play Now button on this page or go to alphatubes.app/try. No install is required.
Is it free?
The web version on this site is free to play in your browser.
Do I need to log in to save my progress?
No. If you play as a guest, your progress is saved in your browser. If you log in, your progress will also be saved and synced to your account so you can continue on another device.
Will my games be saved when I refresh or switch devices?
Yes. Refreshing keeps your progress locally (guest mode). When you are logged in, your cleared puzzles, best/last move counts, hints used, and your in-progress state are synced across devices.
How do hints work (and do they cost moves)?
Revealing a hint word costs +5 moves. If a word is already solved on the board, that word’s hint is revealed for free.
